The Ironclad Fullcourt line of basketball goals features a stunning clear view backboard design for those wanting an unobstructed view while shooting hoops. Fullcourt hoops are adjustable from 10' to 5' and come packed with durability features.
A clearview basketball goal is a basketball goal with a totally unobstructed view behind the backboard. Typically, this means that there is no additional rim support structure visible behind the glass. This is accomplished by building a tubular steel frame that sits on the backside of the glass and surrounds the outermost perimeter of the glass. Welded to this tubular perimeter frame is a heavy duty rim support that absorbs the stress when players hang on the rim. This prevents the glass from being broken due to excessive torsional action created when weight is added to the rim. Many customers prefer this style of backboard design vs. other support structures that commonly run vertically behind the shooter’s square area printed on the backboard glass. Though it provides slightly less structural strength against damage due to hanging on the rim vs. H-Frame supported style backboards, a clearview basketball goal provides the most realistic look to an NBA or NCAA backboard support. If you are looking to enhance the curb appeal of basketball goal, we recommend you consider a clearview backboard. The Fullcourt line of adjustable basketball goals offers this clearview backboard feature.
