Overview
Ironclad's Triple Threat TPT553-LG is one of our most popular models. This unit fits into tight areas and includes all our standard features that make the Triple Threat line of basketball goals so great.
The spring assisted crank means any age kid over 5 years old will easily be able to change the rim height by turning the crank handle on the back side of the post. The easy to read height indicator shows the rim height as the unit is adjusted. The 5" square bolt down post is tough as nails and very rigid.
The 36"x60" backboard is constructed using 1/2" thick tempered glass, this is the same glass thickness used in high school, NCAA and NBA arenas so ball bounce of the backboard is perfect every time. Top it off with included free padding for both the post and backboard and free WeatherShield undercoat rust protection and you will be the envy of the neighborhood.

No need to haul bulky, heavy packages home from the store. We make delivery easy and it's FREE! When you order an Ironclad basketball system, it will be shipped quickly, typically within 24 hrs. Additionally, it will be delivered by truck to your location and unloaded from the truck to ground level via an automatic hydraulic lift gate.
You will typically receive your goal within 5-7 days. A tracking number will be emailed to you once your order has shipped from our facility.

After a lot of review of different basketball hoop systems I ended up choosing the Ironclad with a 60 inch backboard and a 3 foot overhang. This was based on internet research, reviews, and price. I ended up getting the upgraded model from the entry level and I'm glad I did. Overall the Ironclad Triple Threat basketball hoop system is awesome! It is solid and just feels right when you shoot (both bank shots and shots that hit the rim). It is like shooting baskets at your high school gym. Installing the system: you need to dig a 4 foot hole for anchor installation and fill it with cement and rebarb. I had my rock wall guy do this. I set up and mounted the system to the anchor. Plan on 4 hours. You ABSOLUTELY need 3 adults and a truck to hang the backboard. It is big and heavy. The instructions are a bit anemic, especially with this part. The overall system is well built and heavy duty right down to the hardware. Great system if you are looking for a high quality basketball hoop system.
