CartPole Padding
Introduction
Thick all weather padding covers the post and baseplate to protect against player contact with any part of the post.
Durability
Post padding is built in two parts. Part one is the vertical post pad which covers the vertical portion of the square/rectangular post itself. Part two is a pyramid shaped pad designed to cover the baseplate, gussets and anchor bolts at the bottom of the post. Our post padding starts with 2” thick foam surrounded by a heavy duty 18 oz. black vinyl. Don’t be fooled by competitors padding that is made with thin foam and inferior vinyl. Velcro tabs are sewn to back for easy installation and removal when needed. The pads are designed with a contoured shape to conform to the specific size post for your basketball goal. This gives the padding a clean, professional look and give that extra measure of protection when play gets aggressive under the board.
